Hello everyone,
I have a bit of a strange problem. Since the day before yesterday, I've been seeing a turquoise line one pixel wide appearing all the way down my screen. But it's not constant. When it does show up, it's usually after I start my Windows session. Sometimes it disappears just as suddenly, sometimes gradually (over 3-4 seconds).
At first, I thought it might be the age of the screen, which is a Philips 223E that has been in service for around ten years. But if that were the case, would this line disappear spontaneously?
The other possibility I’m considering is a problem with the graphics card (Nvidia Geforce GT 710), which isn’t that old, but still... it's not impossible.
However, after the line first appeared, I realized I could no longer start the motherboard. After removing and reinserting the motherboard battery, it started up fine! The line still appears from time to time, though.
Maybe you have a more informed opinion on this problem?
Thank you! ;-)

Hello,
You say you are using a GT 710 graphics card.
If you have video ports on the motherboard, try removing the graphics card from the PC and connecting to the integrated graphics.
Use the PC like this, and if the line disappears, you can deduce that there is a problem with the graphics card. Either it has an issue, or it’s the drivers.
However, make sure it’s not your cable that’s causing the problem, try another one (and simply try unplugging and plugging it back in if you haven’t done so).
If the problem persists and you have the opportunity, test the screen with another source and see if the line is still there. If it is, the problem is likely with the screen.

Ok, AluMinioume ! :-)
Thank you, that's already guiding me quite a bit! Currently, the line no longer appears... I’m knocking on wood! We'll see over time if it comes back... Thanks again for the information!
