Hello,

I bought a motorhome in 2008. It’s equipped with a satellite dish, Antenna, Alden dish, and TNT Sat demodulator. However, I can’t seem to receive French channels, many are German. I have the antenna pointed south with a new head, and the tilt angle set to 89 degrees (the knob at the bottom of the antenna). I am in Ossun, Hautes-Pyrénées.

I only receive foreign channels, some French channels (M6 Boutique, LCI, LCP, CNews).

I’m aiming at Astra 19.2° East.

I don’t know how to properly adjust my antenna, and I have a device that tells me when I’m receiving a signal.

    Yes, the TNT SAT card is new; I received it last Thursday. And on the Servimat site there is no update to do on the set-top box.

      What is the message on the TV screen ??

      To start, check the position of the new card (depending on the demos, chip facing up or down)
      then perform a factory reset (you need the PIN code)

      and finally perform an automatic installation, it should solve the problem.

    No TV channel messages appear but not in French.
    The card is oriented correctly; in other directions the demodulator does not pick it up and the factory reset has been done several times.

      Hello

      NO! when you do the factory return, the demo offers you an automatic installation (just the TNT)
      if you have the German channels it’s because you did a full satellite search....(you shouldn’t)

      In your device the chip of your TNTsat card is oriented downward

      after performing a factory reset you start again from page 7 of the manual

      that is, choosing the size of your TV (4/3 or 16/9) then OK

      There you are on the Antenna menu:

      Just below the title "Antenna Reception"

      You have a line called TEST 11856 MHZ V 29700 KSym/s

      If you don’t have that exactly, tell us...

    thank you all for your advice I’ve recovered the French channels with the Astra app and my boyfriend because it takes at least two people! And the frequency too I set 29700 thank you thank you thank you!

      27500 is the old reference (it could not work) so the demo started in the full search...

      with 29700 it works much better right away !!

        I’m contacting you because you were able to help me last time.

        I have a problem depending on the position in which I park my motorhome; I can’t pick up the channels at all.

        For example, in a motorhome area in Soorts-Hossegor, with my motorhome facing east, I can’t find any signal, whereas in the same position in a normal parking lot I do find one! Do you know what that could be?

        My motorhome is in a garage oriented to the north and I can’t find the signal there either?

        How does that happen?
