Hello, one year ago I purchased the Avast antivirus for 25.08 euros, today, through Digital River Ireland, Ltd., Avast automatically charged me 79.99 euros. I think this is illegal, but how can I get rid of this for good? I went to the website after struggling to verify my identity, "we will send your password number by email" but I didn't receive anything. That's why I am seeking your help to find out what to do.     Illegal... let's see! You need to start by checking what permissions you granted at the time of subscribing to Avast.

      Hello and thank you for responding. To be honest, I don't remember. I know that I subscribed for 25.08 euros and since I already have Kaspersky on another device, which keeps asking me if I want to continue, I haven't looked into it.

      Being in a situation similar to that of chird 24, your response - which is not really a response since you immediately question the legitimacy of the approach - adds nothing, so what's the point?! To whom should we address ourselves (address, phone number - the contact only speaks English!), procedures, etc)? considering that it is as easy to reach a contact as it is to swim across the Atlantic!
