Hello,

I have been with Free since 2012, and a week ago I had an issue with my box, so I called Free to see what they could do, and they sent me a new one which I received yesterday.

I have set up all the connections, etc., and I realize that I can neither make calls (there is a sort of crackling noise when I try to call with the landline)
nor receive calls (but the calling number still appears on the box), but it's impossible to pick up as the landline does not respond to any calls.

If anyone can help me.

    Hello, are you sure that the phone is plugged in correctly? I'm not with Free, but for it to work, I suppose the phone should be plugged directly into the box.

    Hello,
    Is this phone connected to the box with a cable? Or is it via a wireless connection (using the DECT function of the box)?
    What is the model of the Freebox?
    What are the references (Brand and model) of the phone?

      The fixed device is from the brand Selecline and it is connected with a cable; for the model, I’m not really sure, but it says Icarus 2502


      The Freebox is the V6 model.

    So, reset the box by unplugging it for a minute and then plugging it back in..

        Cutting off the power supply means unplugging the power outlet that supplies the Freebox.
        Restoring power means plugging the same outlet back in.
