Hello, I received a PNY CS900 240GB SSD the day before yesterday.
I cloned my HDD onto it to be able to have Windows on it and boot.
Everything went well with the Macrium software, and I could boot normally from the SSD without issues, and everything was working correctly.
The next day, everything is still fine; I take my dog out, and when I come back, I see a blue screen.
I think no problem, it happens; the PC will reboot, and I will see what the issue is. To my surprise, I realize that the PC boots from the HDD...
I go into the BIOS to reboot from my SSD since I see it correctly in disk management, and I can access the files through Windows Explorer without any problem.
In the BIOS, my SSD has been renamed SATAFIRM S11, and I can't boot from it or format it...
Do you have a solution so that I can boot from my SSD or at least restore it to its original state so that it is recognized differently than SATAFIRM S11?
I haven't found anything conclusive so far... There's even an article that says no worries, we will help you, only to conclude that the SSD is dead, and it needs to be replaced...
But it seems strange to me that it is dead because I can access everything on it; I just can't format it or boot from it...
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 76.0.3809.132

Hello,
Your SSD is faulty; please contact the site where you purchased it to exchange it for a new one.

Yes, request a refund and buy an SSD from another brand, this one is good SEE THIS PAGE there are several sizes (250GB to 2TB), There is also a Crucial software to check it and update its firmware https://www.crucial.fr/support/storage-executive and software to clone it https://www.acronis.com/fr-fr/promotion/CrucialHD-download/
