My Z key is not displaying anymore...

Hello everyone,

I hope you can help me.
I've been having a problem with my Z key for the past 2 hours. It only works when I hold the Shift key at the same time and I can't figure out what the problem is.

I thought it was a keyboard issue but I used another keyboard and the problem remains the same, so that's not it. I have the same problem when trying with the virtual keyboard as well.

I think it must be a simple fix... but which one?
As a small detail, I read that others had a similar problem and that it was related to Nvidia, but no one has provided a solution.

Thank you in advance.

    Hi

do a system restore using a restore point from a date before your issue

    press the Windows+R keys

in the window that opens, type RSTRUI and click OK

the system restore will open, choose a restore point from before your issue and run it

    see you later

      Hi,

I have already tried this solution and when the PC restarts, the problem is still there.

No, it caused me to freeze all of a sudden.
So I snapped and formatted my PC, and everything is working correctly, but I can't find where this problem really comes from.
I hope it doesn't happen again.
Thank you anyway for your help! ;)

So I cracked and formatted my PC and everything is working properly but it's impossible to find out where this problem really comes from.

It's not easy to diagnose the problem remotely...

Since you restored the PC to factory settings and your issue is resolved for now, see how it goes in the coming days.

PS: Is this the first time you've had this issue?
