My Z key is not working anymore!

Hello, good evening.
As stated in the title, the Z key on my keyboard (ROG laptop) is not working anymore.
After manually popping the key off, blowing on it a few times, checking for dust, I restarted the computer.
Upon restarting, the key works perfectly, great. But after about ten minutes, it malfunctions again.
So I thought, why not try the on-screen keyboard, just to be sure, haha.
Well, even with the on-screen keyboard, it doesn't work! I'm completely lost.
Could it be a problematic software or malware? I ran an updated Bit anti-malware scan, found nothing.
I'm in despair, help me :C.
