GPS BECKER MO13 not recognized by PC

Hello,
After an attempt to update my GPS BECKER MO13, I received an error message, so I tried to reset it by pressing the "reset" button on the device, and since then, it is neither recognized by the car nor by the computer...! It's as if I weren't connecting anything to the computer and there was nothing in the device slot in the car..
I'm confused and I hope you can shed some light on this for me.

      Thank you MPMP10. I am going to send a message regarding my problem. Mercedes is offering me to buy a new gearbox. It's their standard solution!!!
