Set the time on a VCR

Good evening,
I purchased a JVC S-VHS HRS 6800 MS VCR and I would like to set the time. I don't have the manual, and I can't figure out how to set the time (I only know that it has to be done using the remote control...). Additionally, I can't find a user manual online (the manual for this model is missing).
If someone can help me, that would be great. Thank you in advance!
Best regards.
Alain

Hello and thank you for your response. Unfortunately, it's not the same scope and therefore not the same remote control. It's impossible to access the menu function to navigate with the TV screen, and there's nothing to do to set the time on the remote. So I need the user manual. Anyway, thank you again for your intervention.

      The VCR still works anyway.

    Hello,
Yes, it works, but since it is in my HI-FI/video cabinet, I might as well have the time displayed instead of the "message" indication that stays on permanently (or else I would need to unplug it...). But I’m not giving up hope...
    Best regards.

    Hello,
Thank you for your reply. I already have this manual (it's available online), but it's very different from the 6800 (just one digit off!!). I will eventually come across the user manual for the 6800!! Anyway, thank you.
    Best regards.

    Hello,
I'm sorry, but I didn't understand your input. It's true that I'm not very good at computers.
    Thank you.

MPMP10 asks you to take a picture of the remote control and post it here in the discussion thread.
It shows you with its image how you should proceed.

      For example, the device shown from the front seems to be this one;

There are more images of this model here but not of the remote control: http://lfdiabloboss01.free.fr/Ebay/Magnetoscope/JVC%20-%20HR%20S6800/jvc.html

Moreover, I think it will be difficult to find the manual since the device dates back to at least 1995 apparently...
