Print error

Hello,
On a Brother MFC-J6510DW printer, every time I try to print, I get an error message 3B (Paper jam front/back); there is no paper in the machine, no bits stuck in the rollers; what could be happening? Could it be a wrong paper length setting? Could there be another cause?
Thanks to those who will help me.

It is also possible that a foreign object has gotten into the printer ..... staple or other ?? (dust?) ... if you have the opportunity to blow out the inside of this printer ...... then a vacuum cleaner ....
A+ for your upcoming comments.... But if none >> Resolved

      Hello jmarion3,
The problem is resolved, here's why: the coding strip (located in front of the print head drive belt) had been contaminated by ink spills from the print head; I cleaned this strip with a damp cloth, closed the scanner lid, and restarted: everything is back to normal, I can now print without any paper jam messages.
Thank you once again, I send you my best regards.
