Hello,
I bought an Asus R752B two days ago.
Everything was going well until, after a restart, the screen took on a bluish tint. The colors on the screen are cold, dull, and faded, making it impossible for me to work on the PC (Drawing)
I should mention that calibrating the screen doesn’t help. The colors remain faded.
I encountered exactly the same problem with the Lenovo I bought just before, which I quickly returned for this reason... I still find it hard to believe that I only come across PCs with bluish screens...
My graphics card is an AMD Radeon(TM) R5 Graphics.
I would like to avoid buying a calibration probe, given my budget. But right now, I'm out of solutions...
Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows / Firefox 67.0

Hello,
Do you leave your screen out in the sun..? Or is there radioactivity in your house..? Or magnetic fields in the area..? Or proximity to a Wifi, Smartphone, Walkie-Talkie, radio station, radar etc.. otherwise, it's really unlikely that it happens to you several times... is it just chance..? Or should you see an ophthalmologist..!
You can adjust many things on the display... regarding the resolution... Brightness... Contrast... Color temperature... and also color... One by one for each of them, with a scale from 0===> Maximum, variable depending on the model of the screen and the graphics card.
Is it really the PC screen..? and not an external screen..?
That said, if it's two days old, you are under warranty if the color temperature is guaranteed..??

No, actually, my room is quite dark, and that’s true at any time of the day.
I have no problems with my old 5-year-old ACER or my 2-year-old ASUS; I’ve been working at this desk for years and the colors have always been spot on. That’s why it caught my eye.
It’s a laptop. I went to buy it at Leclerc because I thought at least in person, I would get a sense of the screen colors (which were, however, correct on the display PC).
Of course it’s still under warranty, but for now I’m trying to avoid an hour’s drive to go to customer service if I can find a solution.
It should be noted that not all PCs are built with the same type of screen, even the same model, it’s not mandatory… just like cars, starting from March 2017, Girling brakes are replaced by Bosch, for example… Let’s add that your screen could also have a manufacturing defect that would be insignificant for someone who only does word processing…
The only way to understand that is to open the PC in front of the seller to get it working… In my opinion.
You can try connecting an external screen to see if the defect also exists on the external screen..
If so: it's the graphics card that is at fault...
If not, it's the laptop screen/display that is the issue.
I more or less fixed the problem by going into the graphics card settings (Right-click on the desktop > Radeon Settings > Displays > Colors)
I added some saturation, made the colors warmer, added a bit of contrast, lowered the brightness a bit, and voilà, the colors are 36,000 times better! (not perfect, but better, there is still that impression of a blue veil over the screen, but it’s much less noticeable!)
Thank you for taking the time to address my issue, I’ll settle for this!
Have a great day,
The problem also exists with color printers... which output something else entirely...
I would add that not everyone sees the same colors...
So...!!! where does the good and beautiful image lie..?
