Plugging a WiFi receiver into a power strip

Hello, so today to solve my connection problem and the fact that using powerline adapters is impossible, I'm going to buy a WiFi repeater. But the question arises: should I plug it into a wall socket so my computer will connect via WiFi, or since we can plug an Ethernet cable into the repeater, should I connect my PC to it? But if the PC is connected via Ethernet, I'll have to use a power strip for the repeater. What do you recommend?

Configuration: Android / Chrome 69.0.3497.128

    Hi,
it's better to use it as a client access point, so via Ethernet, even if it means plugging it into a power strip.
