Hello,
I just received the new 4K Canal decoder and I can't connect it to my home cinema like I used to with the cube and all my other devices.
While searching on the forums, I realize that this issue has been reported for over a year, and that by the end of June 2019, this problem still hasn't been resolved.
And for good reason!
Canal recommends no longer routing everything through the home cinema amplifier but only sending the sound and the image to the TV.
It's a real hassle to switch HDMI on the TV every time I change devices (and some TVs only have one HDMI port, what do we do???
As for me, everything goes through my home cinema, both analog and digital, and the TV is just used as a picture monitor.
Additionally, being a bit hard of hearing, I've connected a Bluetooth headset to the home cinema so I can hear better without disturbing my wife.
So instead of recommending changing the setup to make it worse, why not try to find the bug that has been lasting for over a year that didn't exist on the old decoders????
