Hello,

I bought a new Pioneer VSX-933 home theater.
I followed the connection instructions:
I connected my HD Canal 4K decoder with an HDMI cable to the CBL/SAT input of the home theater.
Then, from the HDMI (out) of the home theater, I connected an HDMI cable to my TV input HDMI2 (ARC) (non-4K Panasonic TV).
Result: I have sound but no picture, with a message on the screen saying
"This content cannot be displayed on your TV. Check the HDMI connection on your HDCP 2.2 compatible TV."

I tried another setup:
An HDMI cable from the HD Canal decoder to the non-4K HDMI5 input of the home theater.
Then, from the HDMI (out) of the home theater, I connected an HDMI cable to my TV input HDMI1 and then tried with HDMI3: Same result, sound but no picture.

Thank you for your help.

Hello,

Yes, I tried the decoder on the TV via HDMI directly and it works.

TV model: Panasonic TX-P50VT30E

The output from the receiver is HDMI out 4K HDR/HDCP 2.2 ARC and the TV input is HDMI2 ARC.
However, while navigating the menu, I don’t see how to configure this ARC function on the TV.
I think it’s automatic, isn’t it?
I tried HDMI from the decoder to inputs HDMI 5 and 6, which are not 4K on the receiver: there is sound but no image.

Thank you for your response.
