I regularly receive letters from this person regarding my Free line, but I haven't been with this provider for several years; I had to issue payment refusals to my bank. What should I do to make it stop? Thank you for your response.

Hello

Friendly complaint without obligation to respond.

In any case, given the date, there would be a statute of limitations:

ONE year for electronic communication services.. CPCE L34-2..

TWO years for the rest.. Consumer Code L218-2.

Let it run its course..

See you+

Hello
you say:
it's been several years since I've been with this operator
I had to make payment rejections to my bank

why these payments if the line has been properly terminated?
did you still have a commitment that would require you to pay the remaining balance of your commitment period at the date of your termination??
or are you sure you returned the equipment? the mobile if rented? do you have the proof?
I don't know who this gentleman is, but even if there are scams under this name, there is indeed a gentleman of the same name responsible for collections.....he is based in Toulouse

I think that sooner or later you'll need to clarify your situation if you want this to stop

re
attention:
The prescription is acquired, in favor of the user, for amounts due in payment for electronic communications services provided by an operator belonging to the categories mentioned in the previous paragraph when the latter has not claimed them within a period of one year from the date they became due.
If the operator has made a claim within the deadlines, and then assigns a collection company, they are within the rules;
I would like our friend to tell us more about his actual situation.

Re:

Claimed = claimed before the Court.. The wording of this Article is not the most fortunate..

Hello,

It seems to be a scam...

I'm receiving claims for a line that doesn't exist, while I have a line with Free that is working and for which they are charging me regularly...
