Hello,
Attention everyone to a Coca-Cola lottery scam, drawing via email, prize €100,000.
Allegedly, it is organized by Coca-Cola London, but the winnings are supposedly blocked in Ivory Coast.
So there are fees for the Ivorian justice system and fees to transfer the winnings through STANDBY CHARTERED BANK!
The fees have to go through a so-called lawyer who is handling your case and are channeled through Western Union!
The lawyer is named Master BILE Jean and the financial manager of Chartered Bank is Mr. KOUAKOU Yves.
Be careful, this scam is very well crafted as they provide you with documents from the justice system, from the bank, and even the professional card of the lawyer that look more real than real!!!

Hello, I too received this "good news." Taking me for an "idiot," I will also take him for an "idiot." Here is the email I am sending back:

MR. DUBOIS,

I was very pleased to read your email that you sent me!
I never imagined I would one day win such an amount.

As stated in your letter, I am contacting you to claim my winnings. Therefore, I would appreciate it if you could send me your bank account details accompanied by a direct debit authorization for an amount of 100,000 euros from your account, or send me a check for that amount, or, if you trust me, provide me with your credit card number and the 3 digits on the back of it.

Awaiting my winnings, I remain, MR. DUBOIS, yours sincerely.

Hello,

I just received the same type of email today, a Coca Cola lottery that I never participated in, and I've supposedly won €95,000, as well as a PSP and NINTENDO DS. The bailiff is Master MONDON EUGENE.
When I search for this name on the Internet, I see that it's a person in Côte d'Ivoire.
So I'm in the same situation as you!
Just a heads up so others don't get scammed!

Hello everyone,
I am a journalist, I also received this email and I would like to delve a little deeper into this story. As an employee of Dauphiné Libéré, I am looking for testimonies from victims (living in the distribution area of this newspaper) who have gone beyond just reading the email from this good Mr. ATTA DUBOIS, or who have even gone so far as to fill out the form or who have paid or hesitated to pay.
I await your testimonies on this forum.
Thank you in advance for your collaboration in digging a little deeper into this fine Dubois firm.

Hello, I also received this email but I'm not stupid, I called Coca Cola in Issy les Moulineaux and they confirmed that it was a scam. I suspected it, considering that I had to send a Western Union of 83 euros to a person who was located in Benin, Africa. You really have to be naive to believe all of this. I didn't believe it from the start.

I received the same scam from Charles Dubois here. If you don't know how to pick it up in Côte d'Ivoire, DHL will deliver it to you and it will cost you €98.02. They take us for idiots.

HELLO!
Coca Scam.
I get at least one scam every week, but more in the private genre "my dad was killed or had an accident, help me recover the piggy bank, I’ll compensate you, and this generally happens in Ivory Coast.
Currently, it’s more the Internet lottery kind, but the outcomes are always in Africa.
On top of that, you add two to three phone calls a day informing you, with an accent (there’s good banana), that you've won again... etc... etc. But the funniest part is that one day we might miss the Jackpot just by being cautious!!
Best regards, Claude.

I couldn't send my response to Mr. Dubois... what a shame... that gain was really tempting. Indeed, his email no longer works or his inbox is full.

For Jump: I doubt that the so-called brain from London is a very qualified computer scientist. To base a scam on hotmail/yahoo addresses... that's a bit much. I don't know any company that uses hotmail/yahoo as their email service. If this gentleman were really competent, he would have set up a server to send and receive his emails with a more credible domain name.

Still for Jump: The concept of race does not exist among human beings... it does among dogs, yes... but not among humans. We talk about ethnicity.

You all talk about a scam (it seems obvious to me, otherwise I wouldn't be here!!) but I would like to know what their scam is for. You talk about identity theft, money laundering, ... does anyone know more? Has anyone gone all the way (with a false identity, for example)?
I just want to understand... Thank you...
P.S.: Are there really pigeons who get taken in? It's a bit much, isn’t it?

I love the '@hotmail.com' thing. As if a big company like Coca-Cola would use Hotmail or Yahoo.
There's also the whole 50,000,000 million euros thing, that makes 50,000,000,000,000 euros.
And finally, the 'lombardi' with an 'm' in his email, and with an 'n' in his name.
They are talented in Ivory Coast!!!!!!

Hello, this is the third email of this kind for me, and in the end, we always end up in the same country, Ivory Coast. The first one was from a certain Stephan Geuï, and I almost got caught in the game. The second one was the same, but this time, I didn’t even bother to understand; I didn’t even reply to him. And on October 17, jackpot! The COCA COLA lottery of €250,000, two phone calls with this so-called "Master Olivier Sanviti." With an accent that’s impossible to understand and talking about recalling his accountant who went to Ivory Coast, and on top of that, you have to pay €650 to his accountant, a bailiff needing an accountant, you have to hand it to them! NO! And on top of that, you have to pay €650 to his accountant.
The worst part of all this is that right now I’m looking for a job, and as they say, it’s true I could use a little butter on my spinach, but not like that. As "Straub Claude" would say: "But the stupidest thing is that one day we might miss the jackpot because we’re too wary!!"
Best regards, Virgichrist.

Because there is still a man on Earth who believes that lotteries are not a discreet way to launder dirty money with the help of a few priests, right? Or the art of selling promises in exchange for a concrete good? I received this yesterday:

Beware of the so-called Coca-Cola lottery 2007. It's another scam cleverly crafted by a so-called marketing director of the Coca-Cola foundation named Mr. Steve Hanter, based in London, who contacts you by email to inform you that you have won the Coca-Cola lottery 2007 and asks you to contact a certain lawyer named Master NDOUFFOU (probably fake names) based in Ivory Coast, who sends you fake documents for a bank transfer (to verify the authenticity of the documents, look closely at the incorrect stamps). The problem is that "the lawyer" asks you to send him a certain amount by Western Union to pay for the transfer fees. Don't be foolish. These are clever scammers. Don't play their game.
To whom it may concern, cheers.

Hello,
Thank you for warning us about these messages we receive in our mailboxes. Fortunately, there are websites like yours; it's true that at the moment their emails are well written, so we tend to believe them!!!
It is very unfortunate that the computer tools we have can be used by dishonest people ready to take advantage of the naivety of some individuals.

Hello,
It should be noted that this scam is orchestrated by a white man residing in London. I myself have spoken with him several times. He is the mastermind because the initial emails come from him. In my opinion, he must be a very skilled computer scientist. His accomplice, who is black, is Ivorian (he's the so-called lawyer) and he is responsible for ensnaring the victims. It's also to him that the money intended for the supposed transfer should be sent. The names they use are fake names, and the addresses are also false. With some victims, the Ivorian is called Dubois; with me, he goes by Master NDOUFFOU. I even went so far as to warn them over the phone because I pretended to be caught in their trap just to see where the matter would lead, and at the last moment, I let them know that they are nothing but thieves and that sooner or later, they will be apprehended by justice.
