Hello.
I have a laptop running Vista. I am using the antivirus Avast, an old version since the current one is not compatible. I reinstalled this version recently, but a notification tells me that the web agent is disabled. I have tried to activate it in several ways without success. I have reinstalled Avast several times, reset the settings to default, but nothing changes.
What should I do?

uninstall it and install Kaspersky Free
https://www.kaspersky.fr/free-antivirus
be careful not to install "VPN Secure Connection" which will slow down the PC, if it has installed, uninstall it. -
Thank you for the advice, but what I'm asking is how to make Avast work correctly rather than switching antivirus.
