Avast! Web Agent disabled

Hello everyone,

I have a little problem with my antivirus program "Avast!"
To keep it simple, in the "Security" tab, they show the Avast agents that provide protection against viruses. And for a while now, the "Web Shield" agent from Avast is marked as "Stopped" and I can't seem to reactivate it... When I click on "Activate all agents," Avast activates all of them EXCEPT the Web Shield, so I click on the agent in question but when I hit "Start," nothing happens.

Can anyone help me resolve this issue? Maybe someone who knows more about antivirus programs than I do or someone who has had the same issue and managed to fix it?

Uninstall Avast! and reinstall it.
