merging multiple pages into a single document Solved

Question

Hello,

I am currently scanning some documents, some of which are multiple pages long.
Unfortunately, my scanner creates a separate document for each page after the scan.

My question is: how can I merge multiple documents (the pages) into a single document that contains all the pages? I would like to save it as a PDF afterwards.

It's simple: you just need a virtual printer that generates PDF, I use PDF995 (free).

1. Scan the documents to jpeg files
2. In Windows Explorer, select the images, right-click menu "Print"
3. Select the PDF printer and print

Tested with Windows 7, I don't know about other versions of Windows.

By a simple method, you must cut or copy each scanned image and put them in a single document.

There is a small software: PDFTK (for PDF Tool Kit), free version downloadable here: https://www.pdflabs.com/tools/pdftk-the-pdf-toolkit/pdftk_free-2.02-win-setup.exe
This friendly tool allows you to merge, or conversely split your PDFs.
It's in English, but not too complicated to understand!

Scan to PDF page 1 and save it as, for example, "toto 1", then page 2 as "toto 2"... At the end, double click on the page. You will arrive in a new window where you can modify the pages (rotation, layout, etc.). Finally, save everything as "TOTO". The pages are in a single PDF document. You can then delete toto 1 and toto 2 to save memory.
