Red and white cross on file or folder icons in Windows 10

Hello,
My PC has been upgraded to the new version of Windows 10 following a repair by Asus, and I have a big issue!
In the lower left corner of the icon representing my folders or files, I either have a green check mark or a red and white cross.
For the files or folders with a green check mark, everything works normally.
However, for the files and folders with the small red and white cross, I have a big problem.
The icon says: Availability Status: Error.
When I try to modify data on a Word or Excel file, for example, a bar with a red cross tells me:
Download blocked - We encountered a problem with this file and we cannot save any new changes.
I insist, this small red and white cross appears for a large number of the icons of my files as well as those of my folders.....

Someone told me it might be a synchronization issue with OneDrive, although I don't wish to use it....
But this person couldn't explain how to remedy the problem.

Thank you for helping me by specifying the steps to follow, as I am not a specialist in IT on the other side of the mirror....
Help!

Configuration: Windows / Internet Explorer 11.0

Hello Malekal_morte,

Thank you for the clarity of your response!
It's outrageous on Microsoft's part to force people to use OneDrive, which is not properly suited for client folders and files!
I removed OneDrive from my PC!

The question of using OneDrive for documents is raised during the installation of Windows 10.
After that, they promote their products.
