Hello,

Does anyone know what a small red circle with a white cross means in the "Status" column of the file explorer?
In "File Management," the disk is considered "Healthy."
I'm experiencing terrible response times: 2 minutes to move a file from one folder to another on the same drive. To create a new folder, I right-click, and it takes several minutes for the window to appear. During this time, a green cursor moves in the display bar: "This PC followed by the open subfolders." At the top of the screen, it says: "Image Tools" on a yellow background, followed by the open subfolder.
I have this red circle in front of each subfolder and file in the "Images" folder. They are all JPG files. Some subfolders haven't been modified in years and still have this red circle.
Thank you for your response.

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 65.0

    Hi,

Please take a screenshot of the cross in the file explorer.

Check the hard drive first: How to check the health of the hard drive
    With CrystalDiskInfo
    - Download CrystalDiskInfo
The status should be blue; otherwise, it's not a good sign.
    More explanations: CrystalDiskInfo.

      Thank you for your response,
Here is the screenshot with the green cursor.

With CrystalDiskInfo, the status is "Correct" on a blue background.
      Thanks again.
