Hello everyone!
I have a problem with my laptop, the screen won't turn on... when I start the PC, it shows a big white band at the bottom and a band in the middle.
When I connect it to the screen of my desktop PC with the VGA port, Windows starts on my desktop PC screen.
How can I get my laptop screen back?
My PC is a Packard Bell Easynote P5WSO.
Thank you very much!
I am uploading a photo of my laptop screen:
Configuration: Windows / Firefox 64.0

Hello,
3 possibilities:
- Faulty connection between the motherboard and the screen.
- Defective laptop screen.
- Video output related to the laptop screen is faulty.
In all 3 cases, it will be difficult to diagnose this remotely; only a technician can confirm it after a hardware diagnosis.

Thank you very much for the answer...
If I open it to test, would there be a chance of finding the solution?-
You can check that the internal cables are not poorly connected/stripped, but without specific tools, you will have difficulty seeing further. If you really want to try opening the screen, be careful of the plastic casing around it, which is very fragile; it's easy to break the small latches that hold the back cover of the frame (tip: use a guitar pick, it doesn't leave any marks).
