Mouse freezing on Windows 7

Hello,

I have been experiencing an issue for months, even years, with my Sony Vaio laptop running Windows 7.
When I click on my mouse, the pointer gets stuck very often; the same thing happens when I switch pages. To explain my problem better (as I'm a novice in computing), if I play a game of Solitaire, the cards stay in the air and then drop all at once. The same goes for when I'm typing; nothing appears and everything shows up at once...
Has anyone among you ever had this problem, and if so, how did you resolve it?

I would really like to find a solution to this issue, otherwise, as a last resort, should I reset it to factory settings?

Here it is, it's done. Drivers have been updated, I was asked to restart the computer but I don't think my issue is resolved because, while replying to your messages, it freezes and then suddenly continues?

  Yes, I have changed the mouse several times as well as the batteries, without success.

Download FRST and once downloaded, put it on the desktop and then open it, you'll see this:

Click on Analyze and at the end of the scan, you will have two text files on the desktop FRST and Addition, send these reports to https://pjjoint.malekal.com/ and then provide the two links generated by Pjoint in your next message.

  You must have a wireless mouse because there is a Bluetooth device with an error (yellow triangle) in the device manager. Give me the identification number of this device, see HERE.

  Hello, yes I have a wireless mouse, I'm more comfortable working.
  
  I went to the device manager and there are 4 devices with an exclamation point; when I check properties and details, there’s no number as explained in the template except for: "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)" in the General tab (on the 4 devices).

  And 4 Bluetooth devices with errors in the device manager, her wireless mouse (Bluetooth) is not working properly.

Hi, and sorry for the delay. Turn off your computer and unplug all your USB peripherals, leaving only those necessary for booting Windows (keyboard/mouse?). Restart and check the behavior of your pointer... if you don't have the problem, continue to plug in your peripherals and check after each one; until the problem reappears? It's possible that your issue comes from a device that is not sufficiently powered? In that case, just plug your peripherals into an externally powered USB hub.

Edit: A similar problem doesn't mean the same solution!

  I'm willing to do what you say, but I only have the small USB plug connected for my mouse, nothing else. Just yesterday, I tried another wired mouse, I put new batteries in the one that works with USB, and it's still the same.
  That's why I have a question: if I restore my computer to factory settings by formatting it, will it still be the same or will the problem be resolved? I'm ready to do it knowing that I might lose data...
  
  It's a serious problem that's making my life miserable and preventing me from enjoying everything I could do on the PC without getting angry or feeling disgusted!!!

I'm bringing up the subject for the next ones who will have the problem.

I've tested everything.....

Ccleaner... Adware.... Scandisk.... etc.......

Scoured many forums......

To finally focus my searches on the hardware......

BINGO!!!!!!

My CPU fan was full of dust.

A little disassembly, then dusting with a brush and a vacuum....

And everything is finally working again!!!!!!!!!!!!
