Mouse cursor issue (vertical dotted line)

Hello,

let me explain my problem, my mouse cursor suddenly changed and became a dotted vertical bar. I tried to change the cursor appearance but whenever I change it, there is still the vertical bar or the cursor turns into a gray square and yet I selected the basic cursor (the arrow).
if you have an explanation for this, I would be grateful! :)

    Hello

    For example, on Windows 10 you need to:
    Go to "Settings"
    Then click on "Devices"
    On the left, you will see "Mouse and touchpad"
    Click on it.

    Then scroll all the way down.
    You need to click on "Additional mouse options"
    A window will open and you click on the "Pointers" tab
    Now choose the pointer you want.
