Hello,
I've had a small issue with my PC for a few weeks now. When I insert a USB drive (any USB drive), I can't open it: "You do not have permission to access this folder" followed by "Access to this folder has been denied."
It suggests that I go to the Security tab, but there is none in the properties of the drive.
I've already found several people experiencing the same problem but never a solution.
Thank you in advance for your help,
Have a nice day!

Hello
Reference for your PC / Windows: ??
Is it a HP brand PC?
If yes, take a look at

Otherwise, try
right-clicking on This PC (or My Computer) / Manage / Disk Management, selecting your USB drive, assigning it a different letter (like X, for example), and it will appear in This PC.

Thank you for the response!
Indeed, I have an HP machine and the solution you sent me works perfectly! I guess I didn't do a very good search...
Thank you very much, have a great day!
