Mail merge with a different sender address

Hello,

I would like to send emails using the merge and mail merge function, but I want the email address sending the message to be different from the one I use. I want it to be a generic address. I have done some research to try to find a way to change the FROM address, but I think it can't be done. Before I give up on the idea, I would like to know if anyone knows how I could do this, if it's possible.

    Good evening

    I mean that you have Outlook and that you have added an account with the generic address that needs to be set as default.
    - File tab => Account Settings
    - "Email Address" tab set the generic address as default
    - "Data File" tab set the generic address as default
