mailing sender selection

Question

Hello, I have two email addresses on my Outlook account. Naturally, the first address I entered in Outlook is my personal email. I want to do a mail merge, but the emails are being sent from my personal email address and not my professional address.  How can I change the sender of the mail merge? PS: I have Microsoft Office 2013.  Thank you.

Hello, actually, two things are needed: 1 that the Pro account be set as the default in the account options (file --> account settings)  2 in file --> options --> mail tab (on the left) and then scroll down on the right in mail sending and check "always use the default account to send emails" and yes, it is not checked by default in Office!

What do you mean?  I wrote my email in Word, then in the Mailings tab, and I did everything necessary to send it to my 10 recipients, but the sender in question is my personal address and not a professional one.

Thank you for your prompt response, but Where can I find this option? I searched but I couldn't find how to set the default sender other than deleting all the accounts and reinstalling them starting with the one that will be the sender for the mail merge.

Hello, Where is this option? Well, it's in your mail settings, unfortunately, you didn't specify its exact name...! By default, I thought you had 2 accounts.....! Generally, the email client uses the email address of the account and not the one from the address book......! According to your explanation, I think you have one account with your private address. Hello In Outlook 2013, when I opened it for the first time, I entered my personal email address. Then I added another account (work account) via the file menu, add account. After that, I went into Word 2013, opened the mailings tab, wrote my email, then inserted an Excel file with the email addresses of each person. Then I did the merge and the emails were sent, but with my personal address as the sender and not my work address. I tried to set it as default (work address), but it doesn't change anything; the sender remains my private address. Hoping I have been more precise.

Hello, Thank you for the information. It is easier to create a second Outlook profile in the control panel / mail where the name will be for example "professional" When you want to send your professional emails, you first connect with this "professional" profile.   -- Regards. The Penguin
