Hello,
I have an Asus Vivobook X541NA that won't turn on anymore. When I press the power button, the charging LED lights up, but nothing happens inside. I would like to know what the solution or the origin of the problem could be. Previously, I connected a cut USB cable to it, and while trying to jump-start my tablet's battery, I connected the + of the battery to the + of the cable and the - of the battery to one of the data wires, and the PC turned off. Is it possible to repair it, or do I need to buy a new motherboard?
Thank you

    Hello!

Ouch, bad connection. It's like putting solder in a USB port; the motherboard either fries or goes into safety mode.

Off to customer service or right to the store!

(NEVER plug defective devices into a PC, as it is much more sensitive than a power outlet!)
