Invisible files on micro SD card

Hello,

I copied files from the PC to the micro-SD card of my tablet without any problems. After safely unplugging the USB cable, I went to check if all my files were there, and they were.

But today, when I go back via the Android tablet's explorer, there are many empty folders and missing files. However, they haven't completely disappeared since I can see in the storage menu that the space those files occupied is still used! I just can't access them in the explorer (ES explorer). Basically, I have over a hundred GB occupied, but I can only access about twenty of them... When I run a scan in the explorer, I see 90 GB occupied under the "other" category (when they should appear in the video, audio, or text categories, etc.)
Is it possible to recover them? (preferably without going back through the PC since I'm on vacation with only the tablet)

Thank you in advance

Configuration: Android / Chrome 67.0.3396.87

You fell for the infamous scam involving cards/keys/fake SSDs that display misleading capacities; there are articles on this topic on Clubic and the forum. Basically, it's a 1 or 2 GB card whose controller has been tampered with to display a different capacity. Moreover, when copying files, it systematically overwrites what has already been copied, so there is never any error message about the disk being full or the capacity; it's exactly like filling a bottomless bucket.
