Windows 10 License Information

Hello, I’d like to inquire about this license (Windows 10). Is it really important? What are the consequences if we don’t activate it? And I’d like to ask this through simple examples:

- For example, can we play Roblox without a license?

- Can we download Cinema 4D without a license...?

Hello
without activation you can install whatever you want, (perhaps except Microsoft products like Office)
but using Windows will then be limited to 30 days
beyond that, nothing!
enter a valid license, or format
but if you had another validated system and you migrated to W10, (upgrade) in that case it is already validated

Because I currently own Windows 7 Home Premium, but I can’t play Roblox on it. It requires Windows 8 at minimum. What do you advise I do?

re
difficult to answer
it would be MY pc, I change game and I stay with w7
I tested w10, (in the very beginning that's true) and I was disappointed by repeated bugs, not to mention certain peripherals for which drivers had to be found, when they existed, and that was not the case for all.. problems with battery gauge calibration, wifi..and other stuff in short!

since w10 evolved: so up to you to decide
it all depends if you have the tools to go back in case
image ghost, or installation dvd, the current license (important to note carefully and in a safe place)
etc, etc... see speccy which will indicate it clearly
good to know: if you migrate to w10 but you want to go back to w7 afterwards, know that you can do it within 30 days, because you will have a file named "windows old"
but this folder disappears afterwards
at that moment, no other choice but to format, then reinstall the system for which you have the license

Hi,

You can continue to use Windows when it is not activated.
You can install new applications.
Some Windows features are not accessible, updates may also be blocked.

Hello,

The upgrade from W 7 to W 10 is still free
(unless there has been a change in recent days, the “Update now” upgrade still provides a free license for W 10)
https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows10
(back up your docs on a drive and during the W 10 upgrade do not accept the default installation options, but modify them and choose “nothing to keep”, it will be cleaner.)

See under W 10 if you don't have driver issues, it's fine.
If there are driver issues we will look at what solutions we can find.
Otherwise we revert to W 7. (rollback to previous version from the option under W 10 or restore from image if you have one or ...)

Okay, because I’m currently on Windows 7 Home Premium and I’m worried that, if I upgrade to Windows 10 with this tool, I won’t be able to obtain a license, etc. ? But apparently the license is provided when you already own one for Windows 7, for example?

A bit late for your reply... I had removed the discussion from my trackers.

If you click "Update now" as indicated you will get a free and legal Windows 10.
(subject to changes in recent days. Also note that a valid Windows 10 license key found on the net for 8 to 15 euros is possible)

However, if you perform a real installation with a USB support, for example, you will not get Windows 10 for free and you will have to buy a license.
