Hello,
I erased my startup disk because I want to sell my computer; iMac 2011. I followed the procedures as indicated on Apple's website: https://support.apple.com/fr-fr/HT204904
However, when I get to the reinstall macOS (High Sierra) step and try to select my disk, it indicates that it is locked.
What should I do to unlock it?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Configuration: iPad / Safari 11.0

Hello,
If the startup disk has been erased, it cannot be locked.
I imagine this procedure (erasing the standard partition) was done after starting the Mac from the recovery partition.
(hold down cmd and R during startup, then OS X Utilities / Disk Utility...)
And so the standard partition is now empty and formatted as Mac OS Extended...
During installation, be sure to select the correct destination volume. Do not try to reinstall on the "Base system" partition.
What does Disk Utility currently say about the standard partition after booting from the recovery partition?

Always provide your complete system configuration - exact computer model, exact OS version.

Indeed, I did as you mentioned above (holding the cmd + r key)
I tried again, this time it didn’t say locked, but it still didn’t work. Plus, the base system appeared. I took photos to explain better.
