Avira won't open

Hello,
Since yesterday, I can no longer open my Avira Pro antivirus.
Whether I click once or twice on the icon in the taskbar, nothing happens!
I also received a strange message saying that my PC was blocked, that it was going to shut down, and that I needed to call a number they provided. This message was accompanied by a female voice.
Thank you if you can help me get my antivirus back.

    Hello Maleka, and thank you for your response.
    However, I can't see how to uninstall Avira when I can't open it!
    Certainly a silly question on my part, I ask you to please excuse me.

      and Programs and Features
      uninstalls Avira
      reinstalls it.
