Bitdefender - Almost systematic blocking of all web pages

Hello everyone,
Following the end of the trial period of my previous antivirus Eset, and due to issues I encountered in acquiring its paid version, I turned to the Bitdefender antivirus, which I found had numerous positive reviews online.
However, since I installed it, it has a troublesome tendency to block all the websites I intend to visit. Here is the message it shows when I try to access certain web pages:
This site is inaccessible
www.velo-on-line.fr has unexpectedly terminated the connection.
Note: This does not only target lesser-known sites; even Gmail (I am unable to connect and download attachments) and other major sites were blocked at first.
I know I can go through the exceptions and add all these sites gradually. That’s what I’ve done so far. But this method is quite cumbersome, and I will soon find myself with several hundred sites on the exception list.
Is there a way to make the Bitdefender antivirus a little less protective?
Thank you in advance, and wishing you a good day.
Best regards,
Zankor
