Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out because I have an error message that appears every time I open Excel. It also appears every time I return to an Excel window. For example: I open Excel: error message; I switch to Word then return to Excel: error message...
Here’s the message in full:
Error in App_WorkbookActivate Unable to set the Installed property of the AddI class.
I am currently writing a scientific thesis, so let's just say this is driving me crazy for the last two months ^^
Do you have a solution to get rid of this message?

Is it Office 365... what version of Windows.... have you programmed macros..? or not..? -
So the problem was resolved by Microsoft support.
For your information, I didn't use VBA or any other stuff like that, just formulas... and I'm on Excel 2016. I had already typed the message into Google, but the suggested help didn't work or I couldn't understand anything ^^"
The support technician went to Options -> Advanced Options -> scrolled down to the bottom of the page and unchecked "Show add-in user interface errors".
Let's just say that this isn't really a problem resolution but rather a way to prevent the error message from appearing. However, for my use, that's more than enough.
