Hello,

I can't get the Safekeeper GW300 watch to be recognized, so I'm unable to adjust all the settings

Inside, there's an Orange SIM card, and when you call the number, it rings on the watch and he can answer, that's all. What should I do, please help me?

Hello everyone.
There are codes to send via SMS to the watch.
The first ones I sent are the following:
pw,123456,ts#
pw,123456,imsi#
Then, the last one I was told to send is as follows, but my operator is Nrj mobile and each operator has a reference, so here is what I sent to the watch and after that, everything worked, including the time to set:
pw,123456,apn,fnetnrj,,,20826#

You send the 1st SMS with the 1st code.
Then once you have received a response, you send the 2nd one, etc...

1. BELOW, 2 QUICK START GUIDES
A] Guide 1
1. Remove the battery cover, install a micro SIM card, activate caller ID, and subscribe to a monthly data plan (The plan must be a GSM 2G network, we recommend testing a 30MB data plan per month).
2. Install the battery, place the cover, and then tighten the screws.
3. Press and hold the ON/OFF button until a ringtone is heard, and a message indicating that the watch is starting appears on the screen. The watch cannot be turned off locally after setting the number of the primary guardian. To turn it off, use the mobile app.
4. Download the app on your mobile phone (scan the QR code received in the paper guide), then register it.
5. Charging: use the USB charging cable to insert the USB interface on the left side of the GPS watch and connect the other end of the charging cable to a computer or charger.
6. Emergency call: press SIDE KEY 1, SIDE KEY 2, or SIDE KEY SOS to dial the pre-defined familiarity number by the APP.
7. Smart calls: To avoid phone harassment, only numbers registered in the main monitor are allowed to call the watch.

You must unlock the PIN code of the watch's SIM card; for this, you need to insert the watch's SIM card into your phone, and then unlock the PIN code. (if this doesn't work easily, go to your phone settings)
After this step is completed, you can put the watch's SIM card back into the Smart Watch Kid.
Unscrew the watch with the mini screwdriver
Lift the Battery
Insert the micro-SIM card (in the indicated direction!)
Close the watch with the mini screwdriver
Turn on the watch with the button on the right side of the watch
Now take your phone
You will create a "Setracker" account
Go to the app and fill in the data
Enter the IMEI number of the watch on the first line
Choose the French language
Choose "Europe" for "Area"

Log in with your phone to the app (using the account details you just created)
You can now test the different features

3. PRODUCT FEATURES:

Wear the watch for more than three minutes; if you take it off, a warning message will be sent to the app, indicating that the watch has been removed. You can deactivate this function when the product is set aside.
7) Call and intercom
Enter your phone number in the dialog box, click OK, and the watch will dial your phone number immediately after receiving a command. During the conversation, the watch's speaker is disabled and therefore does not produce any sound.
4. CLIENT OPERATIONS
1. Downloading and connecting to the app
• Use your phone to scan the QR code to get the download address.
• Start the APP client, register for tracking. It is advisable to change the password on first use.
2. Real-time tracking
• In the menu, enter "Real-time tracking," and you will be able to see the watch's location. The watch's location can be updated by clicking the refresh button. The map can be resized as you wish.
3. Intercom
• Press and hold the watch's start button to record your voice; release the power button to send the recording to the APP.
• When the watch receives a recording, the screen will display a vocal "panel"; briefly press the SOS button to play the recording; after listening, the voice message will disappear

4. SETTINGS
• GPS data sending interval: three modes are available.
1) Quick positioning: location information is sent every 10 seconds. This mode allows you to frequently receive information about the watch's location but uses a lot of energy. Please do not leave your watch on this mode all the time.

2) Default setting: location information is sent every 10 minutes. This mode is recommended.
3) Power-off mode: location information is sent every hour
• Primary guardian number: this is the phone number chosen to receive an alert message when the battery is low. After setting the primary guardian's number, it is impossible to turn off the watch directly. Instead, when you press the ON/OFF button, you will receive a call from the "guardian number."
• Monitoring call: Enter your phone number in the dialog box, click OK, and the watch will dial your phone number immediately after receiving a command. During the conversation, the watch's speaker is disabled and does not produce any sound.
• Emergency number: in addition to the numbers of mom and dad, another guardian's number can also be configured. Enter a guardian's number and confirm. The setting is successful if the watch announces that the command has been returned. Press the Papa button for 3 seconds, and the watch will dial the first emergency number (to send a distress signal).
Set a whitelist: add phone numbers to the whitelist. Then, the device can only receive calls from users on the whitelist, in addition to the primary number and emergency numbers, to avoid unwanted calls.
• Hang-up alarm: If the strap is removed after the watch has been worn for more than 3 minutes, you will receive a warning message on the app indicating that the watch has been detached. You can disable this function when the product is set aside.
• Low battery alarm setting: the remaining battery percentage is displayed on the watch. When this percentage is below 15%, the watch will send an alarm message to the app after 5 minutes.
• Pedometer setting: the watch has a vibration sensor; the user can turn on the pedometer function while moving, which will start counting steps, and the watch will indicate the number of steps taken by the user (in real time).

5. OTHER FEATURES:
• History: the history of trips from the last 90 days is accessible. You can choose to display the positions with LBS.
• Geofencing: after adding a fence name, you can configure a fence with the watch as the center and a radius of 100 to 5000. The APP client will receive an alarm when the watch enters or exits the fence.
• Monitoring message: All alarm messages that the watch has received will be displayed.
6. FAQ:
• It indicates that the number you dialed is busy now when you dial the watch number with your mobile phone. (The SIM card has not yet activated the caller ID function, so the watch cannot identify any number. Please activate this function first.)
• If "sending" or "failed to send" is always displayed after commands have been set on the APP client, the reason may be one of the following:
a/ There is no signal or the GPRS network signal is weak, so GPRS data cannot be transmitted;
b/ The GPRS access function is not activated for the SIM card in the watch. It is recommended to subscribe to a 30MB monthly GPRS traffic package.
c/ The line is busy. GPRS data transmission automatically stops during a GSM call.
• The APP client indicates that the watch is offline all the time:
a/ The balance of the SIM card is insufficient, prohibiting data transmission and call services;
b/ The watch is turned off or suffers from "power cut";
c/ There is no signal, or the signal received by the watch is weak (in this case, the watch's data can rarely be uploaded to the server).
• The distance between the watch and a base station is several hundred meters long: positioning is based on the position of the nearest base stations. The accuracy of the positioning therefore depends on the density of base stations around the watch. The actual accuracy of base station positioning is 50 to 1000 meters.

The product is specifically designed for children, elderly adults, and other groups in need of care.
Do not use the product for illegal purposes, such as tracking and invading others' privacy. All consequences arising from these illegal actions must be borne by the user. We will not be responsible for any resulting losses.

I got mine on Groupon, but I think they neglect all responsibility... I don’t know what to do anymore; I’m paying for a phone plan of €2, but still, it’s for nothing.

I also bought this watch on Groupon, the device is offline through the app, I can't set up the watch which is not set to the right time, it doesn't accept SOS numbers etc. I can only call my mobile phone from the watch, no functions are accessible on the watch apart from that.

Hello,
I struggled to get this watch to work and searched hard through all the forums. It was all about the operator. You need a plan and a compatible 2G operator. Free doesn't work and there are issues with Orange. La Poste Mobile with the plan at 3.99 works. I hope I could help.

Bonsoir mémé, j'ai des soucis pour moi, la montre achetée le 15 décembre reçue seulement début de semaine et impossible de la paramétrer, elle est hors ligne, j'ai essayé 2 cartes SIM prépayées différentes Orange et SFR... je ne sais plus quoi faire, cela fait 4 jours que je suis dessus, la montre ne reçoit que les appels.

These watches operate on the 2G GSM network.
Free does not emit a 2G network in France but has a roaming contract with Orange (it uses the same network). So it should work with Free's codes. However, the signal needs to be strong enough. Move closer to an Orange antenna and repeat the steps. If it works, it means the signal at your location is too weak for this type of product.
