Hello,
I'm posting this message on the forum because, as stated in the title, this update written as Windows update (KB4023057) installs automatically. Having little knowledge in computers, I've already tried to disable it via the task manager, but it doesn't work. I systematically uninstall Windows update and Windows setup remediations (x64) (KB4023057), which automatically uninstalls when I remove Windows update. Later, it automatically reinstalls a few hours later.
Why do I not want this update?
Because it messes up my PC. Indeed, when it finishes, my PC starts to bug, and I can't access any applications, leaving a black wallpaper and an inaccessible taskbar. Additionally, I can't run games in fullscreen, resulting in blue bands appearing on the screen.
So if anyone has a solution, I would be grateful.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
It is not possible to hide an update on Windows 10.
All you can do is stop Windows Update: https://www.malekal.com/windows-10-desactiver-les-mises-a-jour-windows-update/
The 1803 update will be released on April 30, and it should fix this issue.
Disable Windows Update until Monday and install the 1803 update.
Install the Windows 1803 update manually by following these tutorials:- How to install the Windows 10 1803 update (CCM)
- Download and install the Windows 10 1803 update (malekal.com)

Hello,
we can prevent driver updates:

Thank you very much, but I tried, unfortunately, the message that appears tells me either to update the PC right away or to postpone it by an hour, so I have to keep postponing it to the next hour.
Furthermore, I cannot restart my PC because otherwise it updates as indicated when I click on the power button on the Windows logo.
This update is becoming really burdensome.

Hello,
The problems you are experiencing following the Windows update are probably not caused by Windows.
There are certainly other malfunctions on your computer. The update has merely revealed them.
Therefore, you should identify these issues, which is not easy. Check if the drivers (sound, video, peripherals) are up to date. If necessary, perform a system restore to a previous date.
You won't be able to continue preventing Windows updates for months or years. These updates are essential, particularly for security reasons.-
Hello,
You are certainly right, but the problems that arise after this update are quite serious if I can't even access my documents; I don't see the point of having my PC.
I would need to see a technician, when all I want is to temporarily and manually disable this update until I finish my exams, that would help me, because since posting this message, I have been forced to uninstall this update and postpone it indefinitely.
Thank you.
