Hello,
Following several failures to update Windows 10 x64 (KB4601319), I ran the "Run the troubleshooter." At the end, a yellow triangle was detected.
Detection details:
IsPostback_RC_PendingUpdates
IsPostback: False
WaaSMedicService
Problem detected by: corruptionRepairPlugin; EnableUUPScanPlugin
IsPostback_RC_PendingUpdates
IsPostback: True
Service Status
Problem related to the BITS service: the requested service has already been restarted.
System.Management.Automation.RemoteException You will get further assistance by entering NETHELPMSG2182.
System.Management.Automation.RemoteException.
From there I launched sfc /scannow and at 43% it shows: Windows Resource Protection failed to perform the requested operation.
I restarted it and it's still the same.
I then ran "DISM/Online/Cleanup-Image/ScanHealth and at 83% error 605 the specified buffer contains malformed data.
The DISM log file is located at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log
On that note, I ran: "Dism/Online/Cleanup-Image/RestoreHealth and at 51.8% again error 605 the buffer..........
That's it, I don't know what to do anymore and since I'm fairly new to this, I need help and I'm counting on you, thank you.

since I am pretty new to this
Not that much...
Press the Windows and X keys, click on PowerShell (admin), and copy the command:
CHKDSK /F /X
Respond with "y" and restart the PC. -
Re. There are two commands left to test: open a PowerShell window (admin) and enter the command:
SFC /SCANNOW then press Enter
Without closing the window, copy the command:
DISM /ONLINE /CLEANUP-IMAGE /RESTOREHEALTH then press Enter.
Provide the result of these two commands. -
Thank you for this new information, but as mentioned earlier, I had already initiated them. However, I restarted and once again for SFC /SCANNOW it stops at 43% and indicates that Windows Resource Protection failed to perform the requested operation.
As for DISM /ONLINE /CLEANUP-IMAGE /RESTOREHEALTH, it stopped at 52.3% and it showed: the specified buffer contains malformed data.
I also restarted DISM/Online/Cleanup-Image/ScanHealth, which stopped at 84.4% showing error 605 and again: the specified buffer contains malformed data. Again, the DISM log file is located at C: \Windows \Logs\DISM\dism.log and when you "launch" this C: \Windows \Logs\DISM\dism.log, you end up with a long list of errors, but I am lost here. Perhaps I should send you this list and explain how to do it. Thanks again and see you later.-
Re, sorry for the unnecessary double order.
Obviously, your file structure is corrupted. As it stands, I only see a repair of Windows 10, with no data loss. But since Windows 10 is far from reliable, I strongly advise you to make a complete backup of your data on an external drive, just in case.

Hello.
<<< Error 0x8007025d >>>
There’s hardly any other solution than to do a CLEAN installation
See chapter "Bypassing error 0x8007025d — 0X2000C"
https://www.malekal.com/erreur-0x8007025d-0x2000c-mise-a-jour-windows-10/
Before that, try the suggestion from SATS (2 hours and more), but if it fails, you will need to go through this factory installation.
Download the latest version of Windows 10 (20H2) ==>
https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows10
Out of curiosity: type winver in the search to see which version this PC is working under. Several outdated versions can completely prevent updates from working.
See you later . . .

Thank you for your response. It’s thanks to the forum that I’m learning little by little and with my children when they are around, but that’s not often. So I followed your advice, and it showed 100% analyzed and repaired, I was hopeful. Unfortunately, the update didn’t complete correctly; the installation went up to 100%, and then it indicated: Problems occurred during the installation of the updates. If the problem persists, you can... this may help 0x8007025d. See you later.

Hello and thank you.
The version is 20H2, as for bypassing error 0x8007025d with what’s suggested, I’m not keen on downloading that.
