Hello,

My computer is running Windows 10 - version 1709 (operating system version 16299.371).

For some time now, I have been unable to log in with my PIN.
I get a message saying that due to a change in security settings, the PIN login is no longer available. To restore it, go to sign-in options > PIN > add.

I tried to do this, but I receive an error message when I click on add: "this request is not supported."

Does anyone have any idea?

Thank you in advance,

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 66.0.3359.117

  • Log in with your Windows password to reset the PIN code.
  • Click on "Sign-in options" and choose the Key icon to sign in using the Windows password.
  • Click on Start / "Settings".
  • Choose Sign-in options / Remove, then confirm.
  • Restart the PC.
  • Log in again with the password.
  • Go back to Settings / Sign-in options.
  • Then, under the PIN code section, click on Add.
  • Enter a new PIN code and confirm with OK!

And that's it!

Good evening, I have the same problem but I can't connect directly with my Windows password because they immediately ask for the PIN code and tell me it's unavailable. What should I do?

Thank you, but the problem is that I have a black screen, just the background, I don't have the "Start" tab. There's really only the message on the screen. What should I do?

Hello,
I have the same problem, I tried restarting with the Shift key held down and nothing happened, the link below isn't useful to me since I don't need to provide a fingerprint, does anyone have the solution?
Thanks in advance
