Ouvreir un .eml dans thunderbird

Bonjour,
Je viens d'installer thunderbird, et j'ai 2 lacunes avec ce programme :
Point 1 :
je voudrais sur un "mailto", que ce soit "thunderbird" qui soit activé, et qui envoie donc le message.
Point 2 :
Quand je reçois dans la messagerie en ligne "laposte.net" un fichier joint de type ".eml", je voudrais que thunderbird puisse le lire.
Dans "Paramètres application par défaut" j'ai bien paramétrer l'application "thunderbird" sélectionnée par défaut, mais il se passe rien si je clique sur un ".eml"
