Creation date of a photo downloaded from Facebook

Hello,
Please, I need to know the date a photo downloaded from a Facebook profile was taken.
The date indicated in the file properties is the one when it was saved on my computer; I want to know the date the photo was taken.
Is there a way to find out?

    Hello

    From FB, it's not possible.
    This kind of information is stored in the photo's Exif data and Facebook deletes all this information upon upload to preserve "confidentiality" (yes, you read that right).
    So unless you have the photo on your computer, you won't be able to retrieve this information.

      You just need to edit or view it with a program; most will allow you to see the EXIF data via "properties" in the application.

      does WhatsApp also delete the EXIF data from photos? Can I know the creation date of a photo sent via WhatsApp?
      Otherwise, what about email?
