I hope I'm in the right place...
Hello everyone,
as a happy owner of a Sony Bravia KD-43XE8096, I have a little issue regarding the USB connections:
- my USB drives are all formatted to FAT 32,
- every time I connect one (to ports No. 1 or 2), a menu pops up asking me to choose between photo/video/music and then nothing happens: I can't find this menu again to disconnect the drive,
- finally, I can't view the drive as an external input, like a DVD player, sound system, etc.
- in addition to these little inconveniences, when I connect my drives to the computer, it warns me of a problem and offers to "clean" my drive because there is an issue...
- and then, I realize that the TV has created 2 folders on my drives: Android and LOST.DIR
I delete these 2 damn folders and back to square one.
Can someone help me?
Have a good day

Go figure why unplugging the TV allows you to regain your USB ports!?
My drive was no longer recognized and yet:
- Drive in FAT 32
- Playing video files in MOV or AVI
- Drive previously recognized by the TV ports since it was already used to read files.
