How to disable automatic sleep mode?

Hello
Having always found a solution to my high-tech issues on this forum, I decided to create this topic, as for the first time I couldn't find an existing discussion on this subject.
I recently acquired a Philips DCM2055 audio speaker to replace the previous one that was getting old. I'm very happy with it, but there is one flaw: when I use it, it automatically turns off after about fifteen minutes, which is very annoying when I have to turn it back on repeatedly, especially when I'm not right in front of it.
From my research, I believe it's an automatic standby system (for energy saving), so I would like to know if there is a way to disable this mode. Or could it be another cause?

I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in elsewhere to see if it was a power supply issue, but there was no change. Is there a simple way to disable this mode?

Thank you for reading
Have a nice day

Hello,

I also have the same problem with my LG NB4530A soundbar and my Samsung UE48H6500SLXZF television. The soundbar stops after 25 minutes and 0 seconds (optical or HDMI connection, PCM mode works perfectly).

Before the Samsung purchased this year, I had a LG 42LM660S which had another audio issue. The sound would regularly cut out (1-second cutouts several times per minute). Hence the change to a Samsung TV. (optical or HDMI connection, PCM mode works perfectly)

So for me, the issue definitely comes from the television again, but how do I justify this dysfunction?

Samsung and LG customer service informed me that there is no specific signal to prevent a device from going into standby. Is that true?

The soundbar works perfectly for several hours if I’m using the PS3 to watch a movie, but the television shuts off after 4 hours. So yet another issue of the hardware cutting out due to energy saving. PS3 connection > HDMI > Soundbar > HDMI > Television

Does anyone have any idea about how energy saving works?
