Hello everyone,

I am writing this post because I can no longer get my EPSON XP-235 printer to work. The problems started after I changed my box (I switched from Bouygues to SFR). I don't know if this is related.

When I try to connect with my laptop (an old device running Windows 7), the laptop does not detect the printer. In the control panel, the printer is indicated with a warning sign: exclamation point, and when I right-click and select: troubleshoot, it says: An unexpected error has occurred. The Troubleshooting Assistant cannot continue.

I also tried connecting my printer to my desktop PC (Windows 10), the PC detects the printer, but when I click on add printer, it says: That didn't work. Windows has no network profile for this device.

So, I've been trying to print for several days now. I'm not a computer expert, but if someone could help me, I would be very grateful.

Best regards, lhommepoulpe.

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 58.0

If you haven't done anything since you changed your box... you need to get the printer recognized by your new box....

Cool! It works. That was indeed the problem. I did a bit of searching online. There was a WPS button on my router, I fiddled with it a bit, and it's working! A big thank you for your help Poupougne, and see you soon. :)
