Hello, I have a little sound problem. I just got a mini PC with Windows 10, and when I plug in my headset, I realize that there is no sound. The SPDIF device is not outputting sound, and the headset device does not detect my headset.
The hardware is new.
What are the solutions to get this hardware working again, if it's possible?
Thank you in advance for your help.
David.

Hello
Try this sound manager here
An icon will be present next to the time
You can then configure it if needed.
Then plug in your headphones, the manager will open and if everything is OK, you will have sound.
See you later

You're welcome
For next time, for example if you don't have sound in the next version of Windows 10 (currently it's version 1709 → the next one will be around April 2018) check the manufacturer’s website to see if they offer an audio driver update
Also for a reinstallation or in the case of a reset, which was your case
But also use DriversCloud if it also offers one
At the same time, look at the other drivers offered knowing that the most important are
- Graphics card (for display and resolution, note that part of the graphics card manages
the audio)
- Network (Ethernet or Wireless for WiFi) → cause of slow connections or disconnections
Have a nice day. -
Huge thanks, I just installed drivers cloud, the graphic drivers are correct and so are the network ones. That's cool, I didn't know it before, from now on it's adopted.
Thanks again. -
Create a restore point to be truly at ease
In the Cortana search box (or right-click on the Start button and then click → Search)
Type → restore
The first 3 letters are enough ( res)
Then click on the line → Create a restore point
Enable protection if it's not already on, like this
You can now create your restore point
Useful if you have a problem one day.
