Good evening everyone,
In the evening, noticing that the hard drive (C:) where my desktop was installed had no more storage space, I looked up a trick on the internet to change the desktop to a different hard drive. Since I have two hard drives on my laptop, I tried the trick. Big problem after testing this trick, my hard drive (D:) has turned into the computer's desktop. Everything I put in there gets added to the desktop. It's really annoying because there are a lot of folders and I'm getting lost.
Can someone please help me?
Thanks in advance.
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 63.0.3239.132

Hi,
Do some organizing on your desk.
For example: Create a folder named D and put everything in it :D -

If you reinstall Windows, then yes for sure.

Hello,
As you made a mistake, you can restore the Desktop to its original location
To avoid another mistake in the registry (there is indeed a manual method by modifying registry directories), you have .Bat files ready here
You can use only the .Bat File for the Desktop → here
Save the .bat file
put it on the Desktop
run the .bat file.
Then restart your PC
