Install Windows 10 on a new hard drive in my PC without a network card.

My hard drive is dead. I would like to install Windows 10 with a new key to buy for my PC, which dates back to 2011. Another problem is that my PC doesn't have a network card. My PC is an HP Pavilion P6-2010fr 64 bits, and I don't know what to do. I checked the key on the label, and it gives me this message: The product key you entered appears to be intended for software pre-installed by the device manufacturer. Please contact the device manufacturer to find out recovery options for the software. Thank you

    Good evening,

    Normally, the product key is stored in the BIOS.
    So you don't have to worry about it during the installation.
    The Windows 10 installer should detect it, and you can continue with the installation.
    It also seems strange to me that you don't have a network card.

    Did you do this to reinstall Windows 10?

    The principle is to create a USB installation drive for Windows 10 and boot the computer from it to reinstall Windows without formatting.
    Since the computer is stuck, you need to create this from another functional computer.

    To create the USB drive:

    You need a USB stick with at least 8 GB.

    If the USB stick doesn't work, try making another one with Rufus: how to download Rufus.
    Download the ISO file, for example with Adguard: Download Windows ISO
    Launch Rufus and then specify the path of the ISO file
    In partition type, choose GPT.

    • Choose custom (not upgrade)
    • During the partition phase, create the main partition and click next.

    Do not format at all.

    Your user data will be copied to the Windows.old folder.

    Thank you, so I'll put Windows 10 on the USB stick and let it guide me. No, I was using an adapter before with a Wi-Fi USB stick, no network card. Moreover, I also need a new compatible internal hard drive. When I unplugged it, there were 2 connections; is it the same for the new one? It’s 3.5 inches in a case, right? Normally, it was a Seagate Barracuda LP. The USB stick will boot by itself. I want to do all this on my 2011 tower with the new internal hard drive that I need to buy. I don't know if it will work, but if Windows asks me for a connection for updates, I won't be able to do that without a network card. Thank you.

    I forgot to mention that I haven't done anything yet, so I need to know if the procedure is feasible or not. It bothers me to buy a new computer for a dead hard drive.
