Hello,
When I create a text block in a template and insert text into it, when I want to use this template on a page, I see the text block on the page but I cannot modify it... is this normal?
Is there a way to work around this issue?
Thank you in advance,
Ladyfifi

The content of the template page is common to all pages...
If you want to modify your text, go to the template page where it is located...
But you can create several template pages and apply them to the desired pages via the pages palette (drag-and-drop)...
Thus, if you have text that changes for certain pages, you can apply a different template.

Actually, it's a catalog of about a hundred pages. The template is the same for all pages, but the text will be modified in each block.
I thought it was possible to create text blocks in the template and that when it was applied to a page, it would be possible to write in these blocks.
It seems that this is not the case. Therefore, I will have to copy and paste from not a template, but from a master page and paste them into all the pages.
I assume I'm not mistaken.
Thank you

It's an idea..
Personally, I create the first block of text and then I copy/paste the block onto another page using the "paste format" function (Alt+Shift+Ctrl+V)
Then, by selecting the existing text inside, the text that will replace it will take exactly the same style as the existing one.
This saves time.
