I bought a vehicle from a dealership after seeing an ad on the L'Argus website. The vehicle's description detailed the repairs done, with the timing belt just replaced, and the same for the clutch, along with many other repairs. On top of that, the vehicle is guaranteed in case of any issue. Buying from them, I thought, great, the vehicle is guaranteed for 2 years, and they made the necessary repairs considering the mileage of the car, replacing the timing belt, the clutch, and a lot of things on the vehicle, so I'm not taking too much risk.. Once I picked up the car, the manager promised me repairs that he never carried out, and despite numerous follow-ups, there's been radio silence. And that's where the trouble begins... I broke down on the highway after 2 weeks, the timing belt that had never been changed even though the manager had reconfirmed the work on the vehicle. Then, I had the clutch fail, and this weekend, my car broke down again, the engine is overheating and I don’t know what’s wrong with it. I wish to initiate collective proceedings, I’ve seen that I’m not the only one because of new reviews on Google and through blogs. What do you advise me to do?
Get advice from a Consumer Association (You're not giving enough details about YOUR case..).
See you!
So basically, I bought the car and not even 2 weeks later, the steering wheel started to squeak. I called the mechanic who sold it to me and he said, "It's not a big deal, don't worry." Except that a few weeks later, the power steering failed on the road. So now I'm trying to get rid of the car because I'm a student and it was my savings that I put into this car, and now I don't have the resources to repair it. I wanted to know if there's any way to get my money back from this crook.
But I don’t want to scare you, but selling a vehicle with issues could come back to haunt you.
Similarly, you say that the vehicle has been inspected.
But if the inspector found nothing abnormal, then normally the garage is compliant.
So, that’s why I was talking about law enforcement and the inspector, but only if you are sure of your statements.
LOL
The expert in question was selling hand spinners at the market this summer...
And then they sell cars to professionals, saying such nonsense
Electrical problems are common, especially on Opel/Fiat, and can be repaired very well for a modest price.
Instead of badmouthing the garage, you should have informed yourself before handing over your car for a handful of cherries.
First, the vehicle needs to be assessed through the insurance. However, please note that during an assessment, the vehicle will be immobilized for two months.
The enemy is stupid: he thinks we are the enemy when it is actually him!

Hello Franck, I bought a car with autolux91 and they scammed me too. Have you started any legal proceedings?
Hello,
Why bring up interventions from a person that are 5 years old?
Selling an accident-damaged vehicle is not formally prohibited as long as it is operational or has been restored to such condition according to an expert.
What is prohibited is failing to disclose this by the seller or if the vehicle has hidden defects and/or compliance issues, but not just that the vehicle has normal wear and tear problems considering its age.
In all the previous cases, the theoretical consequence is the cancellation of the sale, but this can only be claimed on a case-by-case basis, and in the absence of an amicable solution, a person may bring it before the Court; the process is lengthy and costly, and there is no guarantee of success if the seller is insolvent.
