Hello, I own a Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 and I have a big problem with it. Ads can pop up at any moment when I'm using my phone, and this has been happening for less than a week. Earlier, I had an ad open on Clash Royale, which is a game without ads, at the moment I'm talking my Chrome app opened to watch an ad even. Even with all my apps closed, an ad pops up like that. What’s strange is that it happens on any app, even while I'm drafting my texts or navigating the home menu. Anyway, I hope this issue is due to the recent Samsung update on my smartphone. I kindly ask for your help to resolve this problem, please.

Well, it was good Gmail. So in the Gmail settings, you need to uncheck "personalized ads."

Bonjour, je possède un Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 et j'ai un gros problème avec celui-ci. Des pubs peuvent s'ouvrir à n'importe quel moment quand j'utilise mon portable, et cela depuis moins d'une semaine. Tout à l'heure j'ai eu une pub qui s'est ouvert sur clash royale qui est un jeu sans pub, au moment où je parle mon application Chrome qui pour visionner une pub même. Même en ayant toutes mes applications éteintes, une pub s'ouvre comme ça. Ce qui est bizarre c'est que ça me le fait sur n'importe quelle application même pendant que je rédige mes sms ou que je suis sur le menu principal. Bref, j'espère que ce problème vient de la màj récente de Samsung sur mon smartphone. Je vous demande gentillement de m'aider à résoudre ce problème s'il vous plaît.

Problem solved easily. When the ad appears, press the button at the bottom left (the one that offers to close applications or choose an already open application). The ad has a small green icon at the top left of the ad frame. Press the green icon, and the icon of the application that shows ads will appear. The culprit is unmasked; I kept the app but removed all access permissions. Go to Settings, then Applications, and select the appropriate application to either delete it or impose restrictions.

I no longer have intrusive ads or bubbles that kept appearing continuously.

Me too. I made a list of all my apps on a piece of paper and uninstalled everything at once. Then I reinstalled one by one each of my really important apps (so I didn't reinstall apps that I suspected or that I didn't find essential). NO MORE ADS!!

So it was indeed an app that was responsible for the intrusive ads.

However, I was lazy; the ideal would have been to delete the apps one by one and restart the phone after each uninstallation. That would have made it possible to identify the responsible app without necessarily going through all the uninstalls.

I have the exact same issue as well, except that I have the Sony Xperia 1, and I think it's because I downloaded too many games because I've had the music app for a long time and there weren't any ads, but I don't know what the trigger element for the ads is, and today, there were some really inappropriate ads (nude women and men...).

How can you tell if an application is malicious? Web pages open on their own, without me even touching my phone. Most of the time, they're sex ads. My McAfee doesn't see anything, Malwarebytes doesn't see anything either, and when I do a device maintenance check, there's nothing. What should I do???

I had the same problem with my J7 Prime, and I found a weird app installed without a logo among the system apps (see photo). After uninstalling it, the ads disappeared.

Exactly, when you're lucky the app is in this form but when it's because of a game, it's harder to see.

Hi. Personally, I uninstalled several apps and the problem went away. I'm going to reinstall the apps one by one to isolate the culprit, but I'm leaning towards the free version of Deezer.

Look at my post above, it should get rid of your ads..
Press the button at the bottom left of your phone (to the left of the central button) when the ad appears. An application window will open. Click on the small icon at the top left of the application, it starts as a small green head and then the application logo will appear. All you have to do is go to your settings to delete the app or put restrictions on it....

Doublekev, hello, check the message above from fayssalle, it helped me. Nameless apps are installed, you can notice them by going to settings and then notifications, there will be some without names, click on them and uninstall. Boom, no more problems.

Hello,

I also had some pop-up windows. When I clicked on them, I noticed that it was Google Chrome opening the pages, even though I generally don't use that browser.

So I just disabled the app by long-pressing the icon from my list of all applications, and I don't have anything anymore.

I also have this problem and it's Chrome that is responsible for these ads. I've therefore disabled Chrome but the ads keep coming and it still indicates that it's Google Chrome that is sending them to me. This issue started yesterday for a reason I'm unaware of. What should I do, please?
