Undetectable laptop

Hello,

For some time now, I haven't been able to connect my mobile (Samsung Galaxy 5) to my laptop (Intel Core i3) via Bluetooth. I have no idea why, but suddenly, all my Bluetooth devices no longer detect my computer, which, however, detects them very well. Pairing from the PC seems possible, but it ends up with the message "This didn't work, please ensure your phone is discoverable."

I've already tried updating the Bluetooth drivers, with no results (if I messed it up, my computer skills are, let's say, limited :3)

Any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix it? Thanks in advance o/

    Hello,

on the Bluetooth icon, right-click > open settings, make sure that the box "allow discovery by Bluetooth devices" is checked.

Yes, the box is indeed checked (you shouldn't take me for a fool either XD).

A small detail that might be important, whether the box is checked or not, the small yellow warning triangle below displays "Bluetooth devices can see the name of this PC" and it says, in the Bluetooth menu, that my PC "is searching for Bluetooth devices and is discoverable by them."

    Weird, right :o ?

The adapter isn't a USB key? Bluetooth is built into my computer. In any case, I can't find any mention of a Bluetooth adapter in my settings.

Not long ago, my phone suddenly detected my computer, and I was able to click on the PC icon to pair them, but I got the message "Unable to connect to Laptop*numberofmycomputer*". Since then, my mobile no longer displays the Bluetooth icon of my computer, so I assume it doesn't detect it anymore.

        Hi,

Knowing your processor (Intel Core i3) doesn't help us much, but knowing your operating system (your version of Windows) would be more useful.

If it's Windows 10, check in the device settings that the Bluetooth feature is enabled... If necessary, turn it off and on again.

If the problem persists despite a restart, it’s either a setting or the driver that's faulty... A driver that Windows 10 may have updated itself by installing a bad version in its case.

Disable/Enable the adapter is when you right-click on the Bluetooth icon (at least it is there on mine).

I'm on Windows 10, disabling/enabling Bluetooth doesn't change anything (I'll still try to disable it for a whole day to see tomorrow).

And no, when I right-click on the Bluetooth icon, it doesn't mention an adapter.

Hello, I just had the same problem with my Lenovo PC.
    I can't connect my PC.
All updates were done and the drivers are up to date.
    I called Lenovo.
They went to the Lenovo site
    and reinstalled the Bluetooth drivers.
And it works very well now.
I don't know if this will help you, but try downloading the drivers again.
    Have a good evening.
